Our Mission & Vision:

Mission: Park Pediatrics is a patient centered medical home , dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our pediatric and adolescent patients.  We provide accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based care in a respectful and culturally diverse-environment.  We promote the physical and mental well-being of all of our patients, so that every child who walks through our doors can achieve his or her greatest potential in life. We feel strongly about promoting school success and incorporate the Reach Out & Read Program  into well child visits.  Our pediatricians give a developmentally and culturally appropriate book to all our children at their health check-ups starting from 6 months to 5 years of age.

Vision:  Park pediatrics aims to provide the best quality of pediatric and adolescent care.   We will be the leading pediatric patient centered medical home in the region, improving the health of our patients and community.

Our Providers

Sithanandam Sadhasivam, M.D. but you can just call him “Dr. Sith”
Sith Sadhasivam, M.D. completed his pediatric residency and neonatal intensive care fellowship at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. After practicing neonatal medicine for over 15 years, Dr. Sadhasivam founded Park Pediatrics in 1995. Dr. Sadhasivam served as the chair of pediatrics at Washington Adventist Hospital from 2008-2011. He lives in Potomac, Maryland with his wife and enjoys spending his time with his five grandchildren.

Lavanya Sithanandam, M.D. “Dr. Lavanya” (pronounced Lah-ven-ya)
Lavanya Sithanandam, M.D. completed medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois followed by pediatric residency at one of the nation’s top ranked children’s hospitals, Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C.  Dr. Sithanandam is the medical director at Park Pediatrics and the director of their Reach Out & Read Program.   She is a strong advocate for her patients,  fluent in Spanish and is certified by the International Society of Travel Medicine.   She is currently serving as the vice chair of pediatrics for Holy Cross Hospital in Germantown, MD.   She is happily married with two beautiful sons.

Ayan Farah M.D
Ayan Farah M.D. grew up in Alexandria, VA.  She completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine followed by pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital at Sinai in Baltimore, MD.  She now lives in Silver Spring, MD with her husband and daughter

Louise Wong M.D.
Louise Wong M.D. grew up in Brooklyn, New York  and went to college at Georgetown University, where she majored in biology.  She received her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College.   She then completed her pediatric residency training at top ranked Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.  In her spare time she enjoys cooking and cheering on her favorite basketball team, the Georgetown Hoyas. Louise is also fluent in Cantonese.

Maham Khan MD

Maham Khan M.D.grew up in Pakistan and moved to America for her medical training. She completed her pediatric training at two of the nation’s top ranked children’s Hospitals, Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C and Cleveland Clinic Children’s in Cleveland, Ohio. Pediatrics has always been a passion, and her aim is to be a strong advocate to get children the resources that they need. She currently lives in Silver Spring with her husband and son.

Jennylynn Sayo, P.A.-C. She likes to go by “P.A. Jenny.”
Jennylynn Sayo, P.A.-C. completed her undergraduate education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a degree in Biology and Psychology. She attended Pace University in New York where she completed a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Her senior capstone research project focused on the epidemic of childhood obesity. She is fluent in Tagalog and enjoys cooking and traveling.

Eric Feldman P.A.-C. is a physician assistant at Park Pediatrics. Eric grew up in Baltimore, MD and began his studies at the University of Maryland at College Park as an undergraduate with a Major in Biology. In 2009, he graduated from Drexel’s Physician Assistant Program, where he completed a master’s degree in Health and Human Sciences and received his PA certification. Before coming to Park Pediatrics, Eric worked as a healthcare provider in an urgent care center where he treated both children and adults. His hobbies include cheering for the Terps and Baltimore Ravens, and watching Seinfeld.

Laura Drake  P.A.-C grew up in the outskirts of a small town in Northern Utah. She studied pre-med at Utah State University as a presidential scholar, assisted in cancer metastasis research, and worked as an Anatomy and Physiology teaching assistant. She worked as a direct care professional for individuals with special needs and in home health and hospice nursing care. She received her Master’s in Health Science in physician assistant studies from Lock Haven University. She studied the therapeutic effects of diet on IBD for her capstone research project. While in school she discovered her love of pediatrics and has worked in this field since graduation. She enjoys being outdoors – running, mountain biking, skiing – with her husband. She also loves cooking, eating what she cooks, reading, and playing the piano.

Conni Nevills CRNP, grew up in Minnesota. She studied nursing at Johns Hopkins University and received her graduate education in care of children at University of Maryland Baltimore. Her past experience as a pediatric ER nurse has made her passionate about injury prevention, family health education, and confirmed her belief that caring for children and their families is an immense privilege. In her free time, Conni can be found spending time with her husband and two young boys in Silver Spring, running, and reading.

Michelle Tutmaher, DO
Michelle Tutmaher, DO is a child neurology resident at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She grew up outside of Kansas City, and attended college at the University of Rochester where she majored in biology. She then headed back to Kansas City to complete her medical education at Kansas City University. Outside of her time at Children’s National, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dachshund.

Our Managers

Madeleine Itoua, CMA, Office Manager. She likes to go by “Maddy.”
Maddy is originally from the republic of Congo, Central Africa.  Maddy began working at Park Pediatrics as a medical assistant, and within a few years became the office manager!  She is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in neurobiology at the University of Maryland.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing poems, music and spending time with her husband and son.  Maddy is also fluent in French, Spanish and Lingala with the hope of learning Italian soon.

Rushika Mehta, Billing Associate
Rushika Mehta has an Associate’s degree in Business from Montgomery College, and is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Management at University of Maryland. Her hobbies include cooking, trying new foods, and travelling.

Hospital Affiliations

Our physicians are affiliated with both Washington Adventist Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital. If you are delivering at either of these hospitals, our physicians, once notified by your labor and delivery nurse, will visit your baby within 24 hours of birth.

We also have a strong relationship with Children’s National Medical Center and often refer our patients who need specialty care to the specialists at Children’s Hospital.
